Affectionately known as Virgi, the founder is a Colombian designer born on the Caribbean coast. With a degree in Fashion Design, her early passion for aesthetics and craftsmanship led her to explore multiple creative disciplines. Her professional path includes serving as a design professor at her alma mater and managing internationally recognized brands. In 2006, driven by determination and vision, she began working tirelessly to bring her dream to life—giving rise to VirgiBOHO.

Her journey began at home, hand‑painting clothing and bags in vibrant tropical styles for friends and family, using her mother Gache’s sewing machine. These early creations marked the beginning of what would become the VirgiBOHO legacy.
As the brand evolved, its distinctive handcrafted designs began attracting a discerning audience with refined taste. Inspired by her mother’s deep appreciation for fine dining, etiquette, and the art of hosting, Virgi expanded her work into hand‑painted home accessories—merging creativity, heritage, and craftsmanship into a unique artistic identity.
